AndaluGeeks Privacy Policy

AndaluGeeks is a non-profit voluntary community of open source application developers and users. AndaluGeeks runs the website “andaluh.es”. So when we say “we”, “us”, or “our” we mean this site and subdomain “wiki.andaluh.es”. If you have objections to this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use this site. Do not hesitate to contact us to ask any questions to andalugeeks (arroba) gmail.com with “Privacy Policy” on the subject.

We take privacy very seriously, and if you are reading this, you probably do as well. First of all, you should know that except for the trusted services that we use for managing our newsletter (MailChimp), analyzing traffic (Google Analytics), and offering our workspace add-ons for Google Drive, no outside party will have access to your personal information.

We do not share personal information or email lists with third parties beyond those specifically named and for the purposes described herein.

Cookies

As per the “Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información” (LSSICE) Real Decreto 13/2012, it is our duty to get express consent from users to accept cookies.

Our site uses ‘cookies’ to manage your session on our site. Cookies are an industry standard and most major web sites use them. • __tawkuuid: Tawk.to cookie, to anonymously identify you as an user on our online chat application. Each different time you access our site the cookie is installed, so regardless how many pages do you visit on this session, you can interact with us via chat online consistently.

Google Drive Apps

If you choose to install Andaluh for Google Docs, the add-on require access to your Google Drive exclusively to be able to present the side menu bar with the options to transcribe text to Andalusian (Andalûh EPA). No user data is stored or shared by AndaluGeeks through the app. The app is only a convenient way to embed transcription engine inside Google Drive. The add-on is not required. Instead, you can keep using our online transcription tool at https://andaluh.es/transcriptor.

AndaluGeeks does not maintain any link or access to the documents you use the add-on with. You maintain total control over the privacy of your documents on Google Drive. If you have questions about their privacy policy, see the Google Drive Terms of Service: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2450387?hl=en.

Newsletter Subscriptions
